Executive Management

Dr. Harold Worrall is the founder and President of Transportation Innovations, Inc.  He has served as the Chairman of the Board of Citilog S.A., Paris, France an ITS technology company. as the Chairman of the Board Advisory Committee of Innovative Road Solutions a  road consortium, in  Dushanbe, Tajikistan and a Board member of PayTollo, San Francisco, California, a silicon valley company offering smartphone payment for transportation.
 

Dr. Worrall has a career extending over 50 years serving with four State Departments of Transportation including Illinois, Virginia, Utah and Florida, the latter three at the Assistant Secretary level. His career in the private sector includes consulting with various public transportation and toll agencies.  He served 12 years as the Executive Director of the Orlando/Orange County Expressway Authority, now the Central Florida Expressway authority.
 

He is a past President of the International Bridge Tunnel and Turnpike Association, and Chairman of the Board of ITS America.
 

Dr. Worrall has been the author of various management studies and has published numerous articles, some of which can be downloaded from the resource library of this website. His 2005 book, “A System at Risk: The Economics of Transportation” addresses the transportation dilemma in the US.  
 

He has served as an adjunct faculty member in the School of Public Policy at the University of Central Florida and has been a guest lecturer at the University of Michigan, George Mason University and the University of Virginia. He holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Civil Engineering and an MBA from the University of Illinois, and a Ph.D. in Public Policy from Virginia Commonwealth University.
 

He is a registered Professional Engineer In Florida, Virginia, and Illinois.
